IGCC Annual Report (2014)

At the UC Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation (IGCC), our mission is to use rigorous research, training, and engagement with decisionmakers to improve policies and practices in ways that help reduce conflict and improve global cooperation. This annual report offers an overview of our history, leadership, programs, and more.
DownloadIn 2014, IGCC continued to grow as a research institution, aligning its mission with emerging global challenges and UC priorities. Research and training focused on security, development, the environment and public health, with 18 events, two summer programs, and lectures serving over 1,000 participants.
Key programs included the tenth Public Policy and Nuclear Threats (PPNT) boot camp and the fifth Chinese security training under the SITC project. IGCC also hosted the 24th Northeast Asia Cooperation Dialogue and two major conferences on climate, disease, and human capital.
