Maria Carreri

Maria Carreri is an assistant professor in the Department of Social and Political Sciences at Bocconi University. Previously, she was an assistant professor at the Goldman School of Public Policy at UC Berkeley and an assistant professor at the Global School of Public Policy at UC San Diego. She obtained her Ph.D. from New York University’s Department of Politics and she was a postdoctoral fellow at the Kellogg School of Management. She is a political scientist studying political economy and urban politics. She teaches causal inference, urban political economy, and public management. She is the recipient of the Susan Clarke Young Scholar Award from the APSA Urban Politics Section.
