Nicolas Wittstock

2024-2025 Postdoctoral Fellow

Nicolas Wittstock was an IGCC Postdoctoral Fellow in Technology and International Security based in Washington, D.C. from 2024-2025. Nic’s research program focuses on the politics of technological change, especially in the context of renewable energy. His work is published or forthcoming in Cambridge University Press, Economic and Political Studies, South European Society and Politics, the Journal of Political Institutions and Political Economy, and Election Studies. Nic earned his B.A. from the University of Mannheim, Germany, an M.A. from King’s College London, and his doctorate from the University of Washington. Nic was also a student fellow and trainee in the Clean Energy Institute at the University of Washington. Further information about ongoing research projects and working papers can be found on Nic’s personal website.
