Alexandra Woodruff Lange is a Ph.D. candidate in political science at UC San Diego. In her research, she evaluates the causes and consequences of individual-level variation in importance attached to the reputation of one’s country. She argues that individuals draw on their understanding of reputation in their day-to-day lives to appreciate the importance of a country’s reputation in international politics.
