Amy is an assistant professor of sociolegal studies in the Department of Politics at Ithaca College. Her research and teaching are highly interdisciplinary, spanning the fields of international human rights and humanitarian law, anthropology, sociology, history, political science, genocide studies, and global studies. Her dissertation examines the effects of truth commissions and the human rights discourses they promote on the politics of memory and peace in post-conflict countries.
