Anastasiia Faikina is a Ph.D. candidate in the Economics Department at the University of California, San Diego. My research uses experimental and quasi-experimental methods to study the intended and unintended effects of digital technologies and reforms designed to improve governance in low- and middle-income countries. Her dissertation explores whether decentralization can promote inclusive development in post-conflict Nepal.
