Bryan McDonald
2002-2003 Dissertation Fellow
Bryan McDonald, Ph.D., was an IGCC Dissertation Fellow from 2002-2003. He is the Director of Interdisciplinary Programs in the College of the Liberal Arts and an Associate Professor in the Department of History at The Pennsylvania State University. Dr. McDonald is a historian of modern America with research and teaching interests in food, environment, security, and resilience. His dissertation examines the threats and vulnerabilities of the emerging network of global food systems to characterize present challenges to food security.
