Dotan Haim is an Assistant Professor in Political Science at Florida State University. He studies comparative politics and international relations, with a focus on conflict, policing, social networks, and Southeast Asia. His dissertation argues that economic and political conditions shape the tradeoff leaders face when deciding whether to incite fear and strengthen societal divisions.
