Eric Mosinger
2015-2016 Dissertation Fellow
Eric Mosinger was an IGCC Dissertation Fellow from 2015-2016. He is an assistant professor in the department of political science at Santa Clara University. His research focuses on civil war, revolutionary organizations, nonviolent civil resistance, and post-conflict legacies of violence in Latin America. By demonstrating that rebel movement fragmentation reflects underlying patterns within civilian constituencies, his dissertation suggests a strategy for preventing the proliferation of violent extremists within conflict: empowering broad, moderate civilian networks.
