Ingrid is the interim program director for Renewables and Other Power at Global Energy Monitor, and holds visiting scholar appointments at the Policy Institute for Energy, Environment, and the Economy at UC Davis, the Institute for Social Transformation at UC Santa Cruz, and the UC Center for Climate Justice. Her research draws on insights from political ecology to contribute to two interdisciplinary fields: critical energy studies and discard (waste) studies. Her project investigated what political economic conditions facilitate the movement of municipal waste from Naples, Italy to Zwentendorf, Austria.
