Jana Von Stein

2003-2004 Dissertation Fellow

Jana von Stein was an IGCC Dissertation Fellow from 2003-2004. She is an associate professor of political science and international relations at the Australian National University. She studies international cooperation, with a particular interest in why countries join international agreements and why they comply. Her dissertation explores the question: when and why do states abide by their international legal commitments.
