Joonbum Bae
2013-2014 Dissertation Fellow
Joonbum Bae was an IGCC Dissertation Fellow from 2013-2014. He is an assistant professor at the KDI School of Public Policy and Management. Current research interests include the relationship between international conflict and authoritarian stability as well as how (and whether) international politics in East Asia differ from other regions of the world. His dissertation explores why changing the cost calculations of a regime’s decisions regarding its nuclear program through positive incentives is more difficult with certain types of regimes more than others.
