Mark Antaki
2001-2002 Dissertation Fellow
Mark Antaki, an IGCC Dissertation Fellow from 2001-2002, is associate professor in McGill University’s law department. Antaki is interested in law as a fundamental and linguistic human activity, in phenomenological and genealogical approaches to law, as well as in the disciplinary nature of law – and even in the idea of (legal) indiscipline. His study undertakes a genealogy of crimes against humanity. It inquires into key historical transformations that preceded the official birth of crimes against humanity in positive international law at Nuremberg.
