Mark Schuller
2004-2005 Dissertation Fellow
Mark Schuller was an IGCC Dissertation Fellow from 2004-2005. He is professor of Anthropology and Nonprofit and NGO Studies at Northern Illinois University and affiliate at the Faculté d’Ethnologie, l’Université d’État d’Haïti. Schuller’s research is on NGOs, globalization, disasters and gender in Haiti. His dissertation analyzes international assistance in post-coup Haiti, specifically looking at how international aid policies impact participation and autonomy in women’s nongovernmental organizations.
