Matthew McCoy is a lecturer of anthropology at UC Los Angeles and a resource employee at the University of Southern California. His research interests include emotions, dreams, drugs, suicide, paramilitarism in Belfast, and veteran homlessness in Los Angeles. His dissertation project is an ethnographic examination of a segregated, working-class interface community in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
