Omayra Cruz

Omayra Cruz was an IGCC Dissertation Fellow from 2001-2002. She is an SVP account manager at AAX. She has expertise in display, video and mobile monetization with strengths in business development, client management and operations. Her dissertation intertwines analyses of historiography and popular culture to address the creativity, fantasy and daring of black U.S. responses to bewildering systems of racial categorization that differentiated groups on the basis of “color.”
