2007-2008 Dissertation Fellow

Or Arthur Honig was an IGCC Dissertation Fellow from 2007-2008. He is Associate Professor of International Relations at the Institute for International Strategy in Tokyo International University. His research focuses on formulation of security policies in the modern age. His primary empirical areas of expertise include: the modern Middle East, American foreign policies in different regions and finally dictators mainly in Africa, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. His dissertation argues that the leaders’ inability to perceive opportunities prevents cooperation.
