Sherry Zaks

Sherry Zaks is an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California. Her research interest lies at the intersection of international security, civil conflict, and democratization. Her dissertation develops a theory of insurgent organizational transformation: rebel groups’ differential capacities to adapt from one type of organization (e.g. a militant rebellion) to another (e.g. a political party) in a changing political market.
