Thomas J. Bickford

Thomas J. Bickford was an IGCC Dissertation Fellow from 1991-1993. He is a Senior Research Scientist in CNA’s China Security Affairs Group. At CNA, his research has focused on Chinese maritime strategy, Chinese national security policy, and China’s relations with its neighbors. His dissertation is on the role of the PLA in Chinese politics.
