Vincent Biondo

2002-2003 Dissertation Fellow

Vincent Biondo, an IGCC Dissertation Fellow from 2002-2003, is a professor of religious studies at Cal Poly Humboldt. His dissertation argues that the formations of political organizations, schools, and mosques during the 1990s are material practices through which immigrant Muslim communities negotiate their own identity and their relationship with the host society.
