Wendy Wong

2006-2007 Dissertation Fellow

Wendy Wong was an IGCC Dissertation Fellow from 2006-2007. She is a professor of political science at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policiy at the University of Toronto. Her research interests include: human rights, humanitarianism, international law, social movements, indigenous politics, the rights of ethnic minorities, and the role of networks. Her dissertation establishes the importance of network structure as a determinant for how well human rights principles advocated by transnational networks transition into international norms.
