Zethyn McKinley is a senior editor at the UC Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation (IGCC) and incoming senior editor of the global affairs journal Current History, where she leverages experience across the publishing, technology, and academic sectors. She has served as a professional editor and marketing consultant for organizations including Amazon Web Services, The Civil War Monitor, and various academic journals, with a specialized focus on technology and global affairs. Zethyn holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Warwick (UK), BAs in Economics and Political Science from CSU, Fresno, and a Professional Certificate in Editing from UC Berkeley. Beyond her editorial work, she is a certified yoga teacher (RYT 200) specializing in therapeutic practices for back care and scoliosis.
