New IGCC Event Series: Navigating Life Post-Ph.D.
*This is a closed event for IGCC dissertation fellows and alumni
This year, IGCC is kicking off a new virtual professionalization series for one of our oldest and most important programs—the IGCC Dissertation Fellowship. The fellowship, which is now in its 40th year, provides grants and mentorship to University of California doctoral students whose research closely tracks IGCC’s mission, and is designed to bolster the capabilities of the next generation of engaged scholars and peacemakers.
Over the course of five virtual sessions, the series will connect UC faculty with IGCC fellows and offer candid advice on how to navigate finding a job, how to think about different career paths, and how to communicate with audiences outside academia.
