The world is currently in the midst of unprecedented technological change in both the civilian and military sphers and an unstable security environment in which rivalry among major powers, especially the U.S. and China, is intensifying. These dynamics promise to fundamentally reshape the nature and distribution of global power. IGCC’s work on defense innovation investigates the state of global defense innovation in the twenty-first century, providing a basis for comparative inquiry of defense innovation across countries, technologies, and products.
