This closed workshop for UC faculty brings together scholars from comparative politics and international relations to address how authoritarian regimes use international organizations—both global and regional—to advance their interests; and the effect that such cooperation has on outcomes of interest, from patterns of economic interdependence to governance and democracy itself. Hosted by IGCC as part of our new Future of Democracy Project, this workshop will be led by Christina Cottiero, Emilie Hafner-Burton, and Christina Schneider.
